Settlement announcement expected today in Oak Cliff Christian Church dispute

DISD and the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League have reached a settlement regarding the Oak Cliff Christian Church. The school district wanted to demolish the 95-year-old church to build tennis courts for the new school that will replace Adamson High School. So the conservationists sued the district, and Judge Martin Hoffman ordered them into mediation.

Conservation league attorney John McCall says he expects to announce the agreement at 5 p.m. today outside the church.
