Architectural and interior design firm Corgan last month named Oak Cliff resident Jennifer Conrad as director of healthcare business development. Conrad will promote, market and develop business for the firm’s healthcare studio. Conrad is an SMU graduate and has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Corgan has designed many healthcare facilities in North Texas, including the new Parkland Hospital campus, which it designed with HDR.
The Texas Association of Homes and Services for the Aging will present its Community Service Award this month to Diana Patten, the life enrichment director at Grace Presbyterian Village, a 300-bed nonprofit retirement community in Oak Cliff. Patten organizes an Oktoberfest celebration annually, leads songs and dances, teaches gardening, trains paramedics how to best assist seniors and recruits and trains volunteers.
