The Dallas school district’s more than $1.4 billion 2010-2011 budget is the subject of several town-hall meetings coming up around Dallas. The one in our neighborhood is 6:30 p.m. June 15 at Maria Moreno Elementary School.
Topics of discussion will include how the budget is determined, how funds are allocated to each school, what role parents and stakeholders have in the process and the district’s priorities.
