The Jefferson Median Beautification Project is a grassroots nonprofit with a goal of planting trees the length of the Jefferson median from Oak Cliff Blvd. to the Cockrell Hill city limits.

Last fall, the volunteer group planted 18 trees at Hampton and Jefferson, and this fall, they will plant more at Jefferson and Plymouth.
