Photos: Adamson High School groundbreaking

Dallas ISD broke ground on the new Adamson High School Oct. 11.

The 223,496-square-foot, energy efficient school will serve about 1,300 students. It will have 81 classrooms, including eight science labs and 11 career education classrooms.

There also are plans for new softball and baseball fields, a soccer and football practice field, tennis courts and a basketball court.
