City council items, mapped by neighborhood

Screen shot 2013-04-19 at 2.52.04 PMTo find the City Council items that matter most to our neighborhood, you could scroll through this 626-page PDF of next week’s agenda.

Or you could hover over the hot spots on this map, The Public Agenda.

The Public Agenda is a project, still in beta, from Building Community Workshop, a Dallas-based nonprofit whose mission is to “improve the livability and viability of communities through the practice of thoughtful design and making.”

This weeks’ mapped agenda includes a consent-agenda item to approve the acceptance of $363,333 from the U.S. Department of Housing for rental assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS on South Marsalis. Nifty.
