Even though the Dallas Police Department has been withholding massive amounts of information from the public since last year, the department has chosen to leak some news about some crimes via its social media channels.
The City of Dallas is working to overhaul its public relations efforts, including telling its own stories, and today there’s one about Oak Cliff.
This recruitment video from the Dallas Police Department features officer Margarita Argumedo, who has been on the force since 2009 and now works in recruiting.
In the video, she says went to Stevens Park Elementary School. Her familiarity with the neighborhood helped her connect with people in Oak Cliff when she served in the department’s Southwest Division, she says.
