Want to donate your time and energy to a worthy neighborhood nonprofit? Find one that’s right for you at Voly in the Park June 6.

The annual festival from Volunteer Now showcases nonprofits in need of manpower, including many in our neighborhood. The Dallas Zoo, Girls Inc., Momentous Institute, North Texas Food Bank, Reading Partners and Trinity River Mission are among the nonprofits with connections to Oak Cliff that will be featured.

The event, from noon-4 p.m. at Klyde Warren Park, also features performances and demonstrations from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Dallas Zoo, Anita Martinez Ballet Folklorico and more.
