Have your pet blessed on St. Francis of Assisi’s feast day Sunday, Oct. 4, at Tyler Street United Methodist Church.
The church, Gypsy Dog Ops, the Spay and Neuter Network and the SPCA are putting on a pet-friendly from 12:30-4:30 p.m. There will be food trucks, live music, arts and crafts for kids and a pet parade as well as pet experts and dog trainers.
Many free or low-cost services also will be available, including a spay/neuter clinic, vaccinations and microchips, heartworm testing, dog wash and tail trimming.
