Sir Khalil Young admitted to raping a 14-year-old girl inside a practice room at the school when he was 18 and they were both students there.

Judge Jeanine Howard sentenced Young in April 2014 to probation that would’ve resulted in the felony sexual assault being removed from his record if he had completed the conditions for five years.

The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct reprimanded Howard for remarks she made to the Dallas Morning News last year, following Young’s confession and conviction, that the girl “wasn’t the victim she claimed to be.” Both the girl and Young stated that she said “no” and “stop,” and besides, she was too young to give sexual consent under Texas law. Young was in jail at that time, accused of violating his probation.

DPD says Young, now 22, “is known to frequent the Oak Cliff area and is into the Oak Cliff music scene.”

Anyone with information on Young’s whereabouts should call the police at 214.437.5238, or give an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 214.373.8477.
