West Dallas soon will have a third choice in banking.
Chase was the only bank in West Dallas for years until Texas Capital Bank opened at Trinity Groves earlier this year.
Now Origin Bank plans to open at Sylvan Thirty early next year.
Louisiana-based Origin is building a full-service bank in a 2,700-square-foot space in the shopping center on Sylvan at Fort Worth Avenue.
Origin has 17 locations in Texas, including two in Dallas.
