The building at 660 Fort Worth Ave. is directly behind the Sylvan Thirty complex.

The space “will be transformed into a modern dining, retail and entertainment destination,” according to a media release from developer Oaxaca Interests.

“This space will be a progressive and contemporary place for several smaller retailers and food artisans to serve our local community,” said Brent Jackson, president of Oaxaca Interests.

Jackson said half of the space already is leased but didn’t say to whom.

San Antonio-based architects Lake Flato, which designed Sylvan Thirty, also is designing this project.
