An 80-year-old woman whose apartment near Kiest Park caught fire this week has died.
The fire started Monday afternoon inside Barbara Louise Reeves’ bedroom at the Primrose Oaks Apartments, a senior community. Fire sprinklers contained the fire so that it didn’t spread to the rest of the community.
Reeves was taken to the hospital, where she died Tuesday morning.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, but it’s believed to be accidental.
