Norma’s Cafe continues its 10-year tradition of giving away free slices of pie on “national pie day.”
No purchase is necessary, but there likely will be a line when the free pie slices are available, from 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23.
Norma’s also is supporting the Birthday Party Project, a local nonprofit that organizes birthday parties for kids living in homeless shelters. Norma’s is offering birthday cake pie, by the slice or whole pie, through the end of the month. It’s made with birthday-cake flavored Oreos, and proceeds from sale go to the Birthday Party Project.
