A restaurant serving vegan Tex-Mex is now open on Jefferson Boulevard.
Casa del Vegano, the new concept from the owner of Vegan Food House, opened last week.
The menu features jackfruit birria tacos, a Beyond meat chimichanga, beer-battered vegan shrimp tacos and churro beignets, as well as margaritas and palomas.
The restaurant is open 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
