Juan and Brent Reaves appear on Restaurant Recovery with Todd Graves in an episode that streams on Discovery+ starting April 15.

Per a media release: “On the show, where Graves travels around the country helping family-owned restaurants that are suffering due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Reaves brothers delve into their rich family history and walk away with solutions with the assistance of Graves and his team! ”

In the trailer for the series, Brent Reaves becomes emotional before stating that the State Fair of Texas represents about 30% of the restaurant’s annual revenue.

When we interviewed the brothers last year, they mentioned that their pre-pandemic plans to franchise Smokey John’s had been put on hold. Cane’s rose from a single restaurant in Baton Rouge in 1996 to today having 432 restaurants in 27 states, plus 21 restaurants in the Middle East.
