Dallas police arrested a suspect in the shooting death of 18-year-old Jason Soto, who was killed during a road-rage incident last week.
Police say Tomas Rodriguez Jr. shot and killed Soto near 2301 S. Hampton Road just after 1 p.m. Thursday, June 17.
Rodriguez, 27, has been charged with murder and is in the Dallas County jail with bond set at $250,000.
This was the sixth road-rage shooting in Dallas in two weeks, KXAS reports.
In response, the Dallas Police Department plans to beef up traffic patrols by sending 12-20 officers to target speeders and aggressive drivers on Dallas freeways, the TV station reports.
