A coffee upstart in Elmwood is easing into service with pop-ups.
Graf Kofe is in a renovated house, painted black, at Edgefield and Tennessee. The photo below, via Google Maps, shows what it looked like under renovation.
Owner German Sierra is a Los Angeles transplant who began roasting coffee at home after relocating to Oak Cliff with his wife several years ago. That led to a coffee-roasting business, selling his own roasted beans to local coffee shops and doing pop-up events.
Sierra bought this building last year with plans to open a retail coffee shop.
