Back in 2008 it was, as one Yelp reviewer from Seattle put it, the perfect place to clean 2,200+ miles of bug road kill off your car.
In the years since, it has been a sufficient place for a quick-as-you-possibly-can self-serve car wash and vacuum, though the quarter machine seldom functioned and the trash cans were always overflowing.
Now it’s not even that. According to a hand-scrawled piece of tape on the bill changer, the car wash is closed.

No word back from the property owner on whether the site has been sold or re-leased yet. The 644 West Dallas address is just a couple doors down from a planned beer garden. We will be sure to let you know as we learn more.
