Take a few grounding breaths before driving around the area near where U.S. Highway 67 splits from Interstate 35 in the next few weeks.
Here are a few updates from the Southern Gateway Project.
The northbound entrance to 67 from Polk is temporarily closed.
The northbound exit ramp to Kiest is closed temporarily.
And northbound traffic on the Interstate 35 frontage road between Marsalis and Ewing will be reduced to one lane through Feb. 25.
Sewansee Street is closed from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. through Wednesday.
Plus these daytime lane closures:
Various lanes of northbound I-35 between U.S. 67 and 8th Street will be closed daily from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. through Jan. 29.
Various lanes on the southbound side will be closed daily from 5 a.m.-3 p.m. through Jan. 29.
And these nighttime lane closures:
Various lanes of north- and southbound I-35 between U.S. 67 and 8th Street will be closed from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. through Jan. 29.
Various lanes of north- and southbound I-35 between Ann Arbor Avenue and U.S. 67 will be closed from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. through Jan. 29.
Various lanes of north- and southbound U.S. 67 between I-20 and I-35 will be closed from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. through Jan. 29.
