The Catholic Foundation awarded $1.1 million recently to schools and nonprofits in Oak Cliff, West Dallas and South Dallas.
The donations touched more than 22 local schools, churches and community organizations.
“The grants will support various projects including HVAC replacements, facility renovations, senior services expansion, tuition assistance and technology upgrades for school classrooms,” the Catholic Foundation stated in a media release.
The Catholic Foundation donates grants to the Oak Cliff schools and nonprofits twice a year.
The foundation gave a total of $21.5 million throughout the Dallas area in 2021.
This year’s Oak Cliff’s schools that received tuition assistance grants include:
Mount St. Michael Catholic School
Santa Clara of Assisi Catholic Academy
St. Cecilia Catholic School
St. Elizabeth of Hungary School
St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School
