A local candlemaker who blends sound with scent has set up shop on West Davis for the month of May.
Seis White, a line of candles from East Dallas resident Nicholas White, hosts a pop-up shop in the former location of Oil & Cotton, at 817 W. Davis.
White started making candles in 2020, taking action on a long held business idea while home with his four kids.
The upstart combines his passion for music with his nose and creativity. Each candle has a QR code that links to a playlist inspired by the scent.
There are five scents that come in all-white packaging and cost $35. White is a hearing child of deaf parents, and his signature candle Sign Language has a “fruity floral scent with a dark side.”
The Seis White pop-up is open noon-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday through May 31.
