That means cocktail lounge the Botanist is closing. The last chance to say “goodbye” will be Saturday, July 2, “with entertainment, legacy bartenders, and of course, OG Botanist cocktails,” according to a news release from Exxir Hospitality, which owns both concepts.

Paradiso is taking over the space with something new, although Exxir hasn’t revealed much. Here’s how the news release describes it:

…this dedicated lounge will be home to Paradiso’s “mysterious older brother” — a fresh concept inspired by ancient science, occult wisdom … and, of course, the chic, playful design Exxir Hospitality has become known for.

Botanist’s eccentric, worldly, and mystical friend is moving in … and they know how to keep the vibes spicy. There will be atmosphere, there will be mystery, and, of course, there will be innovative cocktails and bar bites by the esteemed team of executive chef Nick Hurry and beverage director Iluggy Recinos.
