Oak Cliff voters will have the opportunity to vote in the city election for the first time since districts were redrawn in response to the 2020 U.S. census.

The ballot will list names of candidates for the city council and mayoral race, however, incumbent mayor Eric Johnson is running for reelection unopposed. Johnson is the first unopposed Dallas mayoral candidate since Erik Jonsson in 1967.

While registered voters are able to cast their ballot at any voting location in Dallas County, several voting locations are close to home. Below is a map of voting locations in our neighborhood.

While polling places will be open for the next week, opening and closing times vary depending on day. The following time table is the official Dallas County voting schedule.

April 24-28: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 29: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

April 30: 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

May 1-2: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Dallas County residents who are unsure if they are registered to vote can check the county voter website here.
