A robber shot and murdered Nathaniel Ogbolu, 54, a worker at 7-11 on N. Hampton and Jefferson, a little after 6 this morning, Monday, June 19.
The preliminary investigation shows an unknown Black male entered the store across the street from Sunset High School, pointed a gun at Ogbolu, demanded money and shot the clerk several times before he could even open the register, according to Dallas Police.
The suspect also shot at and missed a witness before fleeing on foot, according to police.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Ogbolu to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
