AUGUST 11- Reveler’s Hall Live Music

Come out for food and live music all day from various artists. Winston Qwintet is on from 4 to 7 p.m. Reo Casey Band from 8 to 11:59 p.m. and Rami DJ Set wraps up the fun night from 12 to 2 a.m.
AUGUST 12- Roodie’s Mexican-American Kitchen 2nd Saturday Pop-Up
Where: Kessler Baking Studio Bishop Arts

Stop by for some great BBQ Infused Mexican food by Roodie’s American Kitchen Pop-Up. Featuring other local Oak Cliff businesses such as Whose Books and Oak Cliff Brewing Co., there will be a variety of tacos, platters, and brisket for all to enjoy.
AUGUST 12- Walk with a Doc
Where: Kiest Park Recreation Center 3081 S Hampton Rd Dallas, TX 75224
UT Southwestern Medical Center invites the community to walk from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the national Walk with a Doc program. Walks are led by physicians in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. This space is a fun and safe place to go for a walk, learn about health from professionals, and meet new friends!
AUGUST 13 – Back to School Fair

Prepare the entire family during back-to-school season at Oak Cliff SDA’s Back-to-School fair from 12 to 4 p.m. There will be student & educational resources, activities for children like ace painting, food, giveaways and more.
AUGUST 13 – Plant.Sip.Vibe – Plant & Sip
Where: The Schoolhouse 1601 Chalk Hill Road Dallas, TX 75212 Barbara’s Pavillion
This Sunday, whether you’re an experienced plant owner or new to caring for your greens, join Plant & Sip from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. for good music, wine and insider tips on what it takes to make houseplants grow and glow! Attendees will receive: Plant.Sip.Vibe Tote Bag with freebies inside, Kokedama supplies, custom soil mixture, and houseplant to repot and take home, plant education tutorial, access to complimentary wine bar (non-alcoholic drinks will be provided as well), charcuterie style foods, DJ and great networking opportunity. A raffle will also be held for attendees to win prizes sponsored by various organizations such as American Plant Exchange, Treleaf and more.
