The Tipsy Elf bar, which has inhabited the Mermaid Bar at Paradiso for the last two years, has moved down Bishop Avenue for 2023 and is taking over the entirety of Bishop Lane.

The new upgrade boasts three bars, each offering their own signature drinks, a moving bar serving shots and more Insta-worthy backgrounds than we can name.

Tipsy Elf can be accessed through the alley between Marcel and Go Easy. A large, fur coat-filled wardrobe leads into a grove of snowy Christmas trees giving all the Narnia vibes to start out the experience.

The bar inside of Casablanca offers “Lux” cocktails (might this editor suggest the “Mrs. Cookie’s Cookie”) and while the patio is decorated, seating is reserved for Casablanca patrons.

The iconic “Tipsy Tavern” has set up shop at Casablanca’s outdoor bar and decor extends as far as 9th Street. The area is semi-covered with plenty of heaters, but a coat would still be advised on chilly nights.

Tejas’ outdoor bar has been refitted as the “Sleigh Saloon,” where the “Abuelita’s Hot Coco” stole the show. Mezcal. Hot Chocolate. Sprinkles. Say less.

The Tipsy Elf opened to the public Nov. 24 and will run through Dec. 23. Karaoke, drag bingo and holiday photos are all on the agenda for the bar’s month of debauchery.
