Dallas ISD elementary & middle schools ranked nationally: This month, US News and World Report released its rankings for top elementary and middle schools in the nation, and more than 108 Dallas ISD schools were in the Top 40% with many in the top 10% as well. Click here to read the story.

Free meals available for students over winter break: To help fight hunger in our community, Dallas ISD is helping to provide free meals to students under 18 in our neighborhoods. Click here for details on participating locations.
College, career & military readiness achievement: This month’s academic achievement presentation focused on our board’s goal of making sure students leave us ready for college and career after graduation. I am proud to share that Dallas ISD is on track with these goals, while closing achievement gaps between student groups.
