Disc Golf at Founder’s ParkĀ

Get out early to beat the heat, but the Roger W. Lytle Disc Golf Course at Oak Cliff Founders Park isĀ ā€œthe cutest disc-golf course in Dallas,ā€Ā a neighbor told the Advocate in 2021.

The 11-hole course is perfect for beginners because it’s short but scenic, and is a good way to get active and spend some time outdoors this weekend.

Disc golf is free and there are no tee times. Getting started takes at least one disc, and second-hand ones cost about $5-$8 each.

Brunch at Chimichurri

Chimichurri offers authentic Latin dishes in the heart of the Bishop Arts District, and they have an enticing brunch menu available Sunday. The speciality menu includes chilaquiles, an omelet de la casa, and their “famous” Argentinian french toast.

The restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m., and reservations can be made online. They are also serving specialities for lunch and dinner.

Restaurant Beatrice

Celebrate dad with contemporary Cajun cooking made by a James Beard award finalist. Restaurant Beatrice’s Father’s Day menu includes pork belly burnt ends, beef dino ribs, wagyu chicken fried steak, lobster po boys, and whole fried fish.

Reservations can be made online.Ā

Encina

Encina in Bishop Arts is offering a special Father’s Day Fried Chicken Feast to celebrate all the amazing dads out there. The special is available Sunday from 6pm-8pm and includes three courses.

Reservations can be made online.

Taco y Vino

Taco y Vino, which offers a fine dining twist on delicious tacos and an affordable wine list, will offer dads 50% off their main course on Father’s Day (kids must be in attendance).
