The 219-unit apartment community, Oakhouse, is adjacent to downtown and the Bishop Arts neighborhood and is now leasing with the first move-ins expected this week.

The community is the latest residential offering from business partners Katy Slade and Nick Venghaus at Mintwood, which recently celebrated the completion of Peridot Residences, an office-to-multifamily conversion in Downtown Dallas. Oakhouse is Mintwood’s second multifamily development in Oak Cliff, following the first project, 212 Melba, which opened in 2022.

Half of the units at Oakhouse are set aside for households making up to 80 percent of area median income.

A representative from Mintwood said the income limit for a single person in 2024 is just under $62,000, and the limit for a family of four is just over $88,000.

Oakhouse offers views of Downtown Dallas and energy-efficient appliances, quartz countertops, in-unit washer/dryers, as well as a resort-style swimming pool, sky lounge/view deck terrace, fitness center, dog park, coffee bar, meeting/zoom rooms and a common area lounge.

The apartment community features one, two and three-bedroom floorplans.
