Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins on Monday, Oct. 21, and there are several polling locations in the Oak Cliff area where neighbors can cast their ballots.

To vote in Texas, neighbors must present one form of acceptable photo ID. Acceptable IDs include:
- Texas Election Identification Certificate
- Texas Personal Identification Card
- Texas Handgun License
- United States Military Identification Card with photograph
- United States Citizenship Certificate with photograph
- United States Passport
- Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
The hours for early voting centers are as follows:
Oct. 21-25: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Oct. 27: Noon to 6 p.m.
Oct. 28 to Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
