Early voting for the Nov. 5 general election begins on Monday, Oct. 21, and there are several polling locations in the Oak Cliff area where neighbors can cast their ballots.

In the Oak Cliff area, early voting locations include:

  • Mountain View Campus-Dallas College
    4849 W Illinois Ave
  • Martin Weiss Recreation Center
    1111 Martindell Ave
  • Oak Cliff Government Center
    702 E Jefferson Blvd
  • Kiest Recreation Center
    3081 S Hampton Rd
  • Oak Gardens Church
    4008 S Polk St
  • For Oak Cliff
    907 E Ledbetter Dr

To vote in Texas, neighbors must present one form of acceptable photo ID. Acceptable IDs include:

  • Texas Election Identification Certificate
  • Texas Personal Identification Card
  • Texas Handgun License
  • United States Military Identification Card with photograph
  • United States Citizenship Certificate with photograph
  • United States Passport
  • Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)

The hours for early voting centers are as follows:

Oct. 21-25: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Oct. 27: Noon to 6 p.m.

Oct. 28 to Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
