The skate park showcase will kick off the campaign to raise the last $25K by the end of August.  On Sunday, you’ll be able to:

    • Purchase a vanity brick paver (starting at $100 per brick)
    • Receive a free skateboarding lesson (there will be skateboards for kids – just bring pads!)
    • Browse the skate park vision boards
    • Meet skate park advocates
    • For more information, click here.

Thanks to the generous $150K pledge from the Eugene McDermott Foundation from early spring along with other committed sponsors, Oak Cliff Skate Park advocates are now within $25K of the $400K private fundraising goal. They are just one final push away from unlocking the City’s full matching funds—bringing the project’s total to a game-changing $1.8 million.
