If you were impressed, intrigued or disappointed by that performance and overall competition now you can see the art form down the street. This Saturday, Aug. 23 the South’s premier Breaking competition, Ritual Warfare, will take place at The Kessler Theater.

The event will feature “The Silverback Ritual” where two contenders go head to head through five rounds of one-on-one battles. Member of the world renowned Havikoro Crew, Marcus, will battle against Pop, who hails from the Street Masters Crew.

In addition to this featured battle, the two-vs-two tournament makes a return with a new edition called “The Octagon.” Competitors will challenge themselves within a constricted space filled with barriers of caution tape and cones to avoid disqualification in the contest.

To set the tone for the event, DJ Flo of Houston, Texas and DJ Fresco of Phoenix, Arizona will be playing tracks throughout the night.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. with showtime starting at 4 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, and children 10 and under have free admission with a parent or guardian ticket holder.
