Since 2020, The Movement Loft has been a creative community in Dallas fostering a space for artistry and inclusivity to thrive. The premier hub is a space for dance, yoga, creativity and community is coming back to where Hoffman grew up.

From dance classes to yoga flows, the studio will energize the community expanding The Movement Loft family with this new location with several bilingual classes designed to accommodate members of the community from all backgrounds.

The new studio is located at 1300 Polk St. inside Tyler Station with a grand opening celebration scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18.

The Grand Opening welcomes the public for a day filled with dance, yoga and celebration to explore the new space dedicated to movement and community. Activities include free mini-tours, sample classes and a preview of apothecary products set to launch this winter.

Mimosas, mock-tails, light bites and exclusive membership specials with complimentary swag will be available for new members.

“This expansion is more than just a business achievement,” Hoffman said. “It’s a homecoming. Growing up in Oak Cliff shaped who I am as an artist and a person, so opening The Movement Loft here is a way of giving back to the community that gave me so much.”

The expansion will also come with the second year of The Movement Loft Dance Company, with the new studio as the company’s home base. Uniting recreational dancers of all levels, ages, and sizes, the company will continue to prepare for the Halloween musical-themed showcase this month featuring two performances and an upcoming whimsical steampunk reimagining of The Nutcracker in December.

The Oak Cliff location will feature flexible hours rotating mornings and operations from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Friday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
