Byron Stamps LIVE, presented by FTC Comedy, will be held this week at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.
Originally from Mississippi, Stamps delivers “laid-back” stories of family life, observations and “being a thug trapped in a nerd’s body thoroughly engages audiences.”
Recently, Stamps completed a traveling show titled “Truth in Comedy” where he joined two others to tell stories across the country. Each comic took someone’s story and added a twist to their story.
Stamps has previously performed at Chicago’s Snubfest, Dallas Comedy House and the Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin. He regularly performs stand-up in the Dallas-Forth Worth area in addition to improv with The Hammock District.
Stamps will perform at the center Friday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m. with free tickets available now.
