The seventh-annual He’s My Hero Father’s Day Photo Experience is popping up Sunday, June 21 at Concord Church.
The family-friendly celebration is free and open to the public to honor father figures with complimentary mini family photo sessions, performances, food trucks and music surrounding this year’s “Dress the Decade” theme, according to a press release.
The theme encourages dads to wear styles for the decade their child was born in, inviting families to creatively celebrate the generations that connect them. Registration is not required and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis following the 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. worship services.
The event is part of the He’s My Hero initiative with the Mark Cuban Heroes Basketball Center which includes programming focused on health and wellness, mental health awareness, financial literacy, career development, culinary experiences, personal styling and family engagement.
Concord Church is located at 6808 Pastor Bailey Drive.
