Get your Oktoberfest gains by lifting a 12-ounce beer stein at Tyler Station this weekend.
Go Oak Cliff’s inaugural Oaktoberfest is from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3.
Expect “an afternoon of food, polka music, amazing local beer and games hosted in a Oktoberfest-style tent right next to Oak Cliff Brewing Co.”
It starts with a 1.128-mile beer run, during which competitors chug shots of beer at intervals. The party starts at noon, and games include competing to see who can hold a beer stein up the longest.
A $25 ticket buys a 12-ounce stein and two drink tokens. The fun run costs $25, and tables are available for $250-$500.
