The current bunkers were installed during the last course renovation in 2010 and have reached their useful life, creating negative playing conditions for golfers.

“With 51,000 golfers playing at Stevens Park Golf Course each year, we owe it to our neighbors and to our golfers to feature beautiful, well maintained golf facilities,” Council member Chad West said “The new liners and sand for our bunkers will do just that.”

The scope of work will include the removal and disposal of existing sand, bunker liner and pea gravel. In addition, the project will allow for the inspection and repair of existing drain lines, the reshaping of bunker faces, installation of capillary concrete and the pouring of new sand.
