For Oak Cliff is bringing the community together for a powerful Juneteenth Weekend you don’t want to miss.
The Power of Proximity Summit will take place Friday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be a gathering of community change-makers, nonprofit leaders, educators, and neighbors focused on disrupting the Cradle to Prison Pipeline and building South Oak Cliff’s Cradle to Career Continuum. Expect dynamic discussions, breakout sessions, and bold ideas that move us forward.

The 5th annual Juneteenth Festival will then take place Saturday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get ready for free food, music, dancing, and all the vibes as the community celebrates freedom and Black culture. From the kids’ zone to the swimming pool, there’s something for everyone.
