In honor of Suicide Prevention Month, Louder Than Stigma will feature live music and art, as well as a custom jacket auction, for the community to enjoy. Plus, the event’s Mental Health Activation Area will showcase organizations that focus on suicide prevention, mental health and community support. All proceeds made from the evening will benefit Amplified Minds, which provides free mental health care to North Texans.

Dallas Sounds Amplified artists Sam Cormier, Remy Riley and Gracen Wynn are set to open the show. The band Cure for Paranoia is headlining the event and will perform its new single No Brainer, releasing Sept. 4.

This event aims to raise awareness about mental health while, as the name implies, combatting the stigma around it.

“For every $100 raised, a dozen people receive access to free mental health care,” Lauren O’Connor, president of Amplified Minds, stated in the release. “Louder Than Stigma is a powerful intersection of music, art and mental health — breaking stigma, building connection and making healing accessible to all.”

It’s set to take place 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Kessler Theater. Tickets cost $32.42 each online. Amplified Minds is also accepting donations.

The Kessler Theater is located at 1230 W. Davis St.
