The meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about the Oak Farms Transportation Corridors Study and an opportunity to share public input on the options for connectivity from Oak Cliff to downtown near the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, which is currently under construction for an expansion. The city’s goal is to complete the project by 2029.

This community meeting comes ahead of a Special Called Transportation Committee meeting that will take place starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at City Hall, where staff will present updated information and options to council members regarding the Houston and Jefferson Viaduct Realignment Project.

Community members can submit questions ahead of the Friday meeting to maxie.johnson@dallas.gov and jake.ettigner@dallas.gov.

The Eloise Lundy Recreation Center is located at 1229 Reverend CBT Smith St.
