The Dallas Bike Ride will close roads on Saturday, May 16, including areas throughout West Dallas and Oak Cliff.
Road closures in West Dallas will start before 8 a.m. and end before 11 a.m. Ingress will be available via north Riverfront and egress via westbound Woodall Rodgers. The following roads will be closed:
- Starting at Riverfront Boulevard from Commerce Street to Continental Avenue, the first closure begins at 7:48 a.m., with the all clear set for 9 a.m.
- Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge from Canada Drive to Continental Avenue will be closed from 8:17 a.m. to 10:28 a.m.
- Continental Avenue from the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge to Riverfront Boulevard from 8:19 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Commerce Street from Riverfront Boulevard to Fort Worth Avenue from 8:21 a.m. to 10:47 a.m.
Road closures in Kessler Park will begin around 8:30 a.m. and end just after 11 a.m. Ingress and egress via I-30 East and West will remain open. Ingress and egress via a counter-clockwise access lane at Colorado Boulevard will be available from 8:30-11 a.m. The following roads will be closed:
- Starting at Edgefield Avenue from Forth Worth Avenue to Kessler Parkway, the first closure begins at 8:28 a.m., with the all clear set for 10:58 a.m.
- Kessler Parkway from Edgefield Avenue to Colorado Boulevard will be closed from 8:29 a.m. to 11:01 a.m.
- Colorado Boulevard from Kessler Parkway to Tyler Street will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 11:08 a.m.
Road closures within the Bishop Arts District and remaining areas of Oak Cliff will begin just before 9 a.m. and last until around noon. Dallas Police Department guided ingress and egress will be available at Colorado and Jefferson from 8:45-11:50 a.m., Cedar Hill and Davis from 8:55-11:30 a.m., and then Beckley and Davis from 8:55-11:30 a.m. Eastbound Davis will remain open throughout. The following roads will be closed:
- Starting at Tyler Street from Colorado Boulevard to Polk Street, the first closures begin at 8:51 a.m., with the all clear set for 11:30 a.m.
- Polk Street from Tyler Street to Zang Boulevard will be closed from 8:53 a.m. to 11:32 a.m.
- Davis Street from West Twelfth Street to Jefferson Boulevard will be closed from 8:57 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
- Jefferson Boulevard from Zang Boulevard to Market Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11:59 a.m.
