This weekend: movies, stories, country music, yoga

The Texas Theatre has “Spike and Mike’s Sick and Twisted Animation Festival” and “Monogamy” starring Rashida Jones this weekend. Plus “Rear Window” plays at 3:15 Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Story time at Cliff Notes is 10:30-11 a.m. Saturday. A snack is provided for the kiddos, ages toddler to kindergarten.

Storytellers at the Kessler brings us the prolific singer-songwriter Ray Wylie Hubbard Saturday. Hubbard moved to Oak Cliff as a kid and graduated from Adamson High School in 1965, so we expect lots of good stories along with his distinctive brand of Texas music. Tickets are $25.

Donate a used bike from 1-6 p.m. Sunday at Tranquilo yoga studio and get a free lesson. They plan to refurbish the bikes and donate them to Oak Cliff neighbors who need them.
