An eight-week summer camp at the Bishop Arts Theater Center starts June 6, and the theater is inviting anyone who’s interested to come check it out from noon- 2 p.m. this Saturday, May 21.
Students in the camp will learn how to perform on stage and the business side of entertainment, including how to prepare a head shot and resume, selecting a monologue and how to audition. The camp also includes training in visual arts, theater techniques, dance and music appreciation.
There are 50 slots available for kids ages 6-12, and tuition is $75 a week, plus a $50 application fee.
