This weekend: Cycle census, Earth Day, gallery walk, ‘Robocop’

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff and Dallas Cycle Style are looking for “the face of Dallas cycling” for 2012, and they’ll find him or her at the Dallas Cycle Census, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at various locations, including the Bishop Arts District.

Good Records celebrates its 12th birthday and Record Store Day Saturday. Bands perform all day, starting at 10:30 a.m., including Oak Cliff-based Yells at Eels at 8 p.m.

The DADA Spring Gallery Walk is from 2-8 p.m. Saturday.

Among the many offerings at the Texas Theatre this weekend is a screening of “Robocop” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, as part of the Dallas Independent Film Festival. This is the 25th anniversary of “Robocop,” which means 1987 was 25 years ago, you guys! Ugh. Anyway, that screening is followed by a dance party.

Oak Cliff Earth Day is from noon-5 p.m. Sunday at Lake Cliff Park.
