New Year, new weekend in Oak Cliff

The Kessler has a four-day lineup of music starting tonight, Dec. 27, with Del Castillo. Also performing  this weekend are Emily Elbert, Nadia Washington, Robert Ellis, Lincoln Durham, Seryn and Jacob Metcalf, among others. Most notably of those others, Sara Jaffe with A.Dd+ on New Year’s Eve.

Tonight, Dec. 27, is the last chance to catch the early spaghetti Western “Django” at The Texas Theatre. The Texas also has a dance party Friday and “Amadeus” running Friday and Saturday. “The Shape of Things to Come” is the theater’s New Year’s Eve party.
