Breezing Through Summer

Well, the heat has finally arrived. We here at CliffDweller have decided to embrace it, with lots of time at the pool, margaritas with friends, and full-blast air conditioning during the desperate middle of the day.

We also hope to help cool you off this month with some good reads. Start off with the refreshing story about Project Transformation, a local group helping many more than the nearly 1000 Oak Cliff kids they put through summer camp. Next, read about the newest restaurant to open in the Cliff: Bolsa, a nice little wine stop right on Davis.

Plus, flip through our Beat the Heat section if you’re looking for ways to spend these long summer days. And finally, don’t forget to get the latest news in Overheard — you may be surprised at what is coming to our area soon.

We hope your July is full of summer fun. We’ll be doing our best to stay cool, and we hope you’ll join us.

See you round the Cliff.
