Signs spelled rong: They’re everywhere

For the life of me, I’ve seen incorrect spellings in signs throughout Dallas, but now that I’m trying to think of one I can’t. Luckily, the Morning News has a story citing specific examples — both public and private signs — where people either are sloppy or downright ignorant of spelling. Now, I don’t want to point the finger too much, because we make our share of mistakes here (and we use auto-spelling programs to help), but it does seem as if our national spelling is getting worse, and this story seems to prove that out.
