Yesterday I saw a story about a new $45 million mixed-use development planned for the West Commerce/Fort Worth Avenue corridor, but strangely enough, all traces of the story are gone today. Maybe the announcement by partner developers Oaxaca Interests, LLC and Drexel Realty Partners was premature? All I can gather was the project would be on land adjacent to the Belmont Hotel and the Cliff Cafe.
If it materializes, it would be good news for the Fort Worth Avenue Development Group. Speaking of, the group will be holding its annual fundraiser tomorrow night at Jack’s Backyard; tickets are $50 at the door.
