Starting Thursday, June 11, the new bridge park will welcome fans of all ages to enjoy exclusive experiences and watch the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) and the Mexico National Football Team throughout the month.

“The World Cup brings the world together, and that is exactly what Halperin Park is designed to do for Dallas,” said Noelle LeVeaux, chief marketing officer of the North Texas FWC Organizing Committee, in a press release. “These watch parties are about more than just soccer – they are a celebration of our diverse cultures and the vibrant, welcoming spirit of our community.”

Attendees will be able to watch live broadcasts under the bandshell or from the Great Lawn on Halperin Park’s 300-square-foot LED wall, with other screens accessible to view the games throughout the park. According to the press release, each watch party will also feature cultural showcases, local DJs, food trucks and special football-themed versions of programming all month long, including story time, craft zone, face painting and more.

“We wanted to create a safe, welcoming and high-energy environment where families can experience the magic of the World Cup right in their own backyard,” said April Allen, president and CEO of Halperin Park and the Southern Gateway Public Green Foundation, in a press release. “Whether you are wearing green, white and red for El Tri or red, white and blue for the USMNT, we are turning Dallas’s newest public green space into an outdoor living room where fans can connect, cheer and make unforgettable memories.”

The park’s Great Lawn, children’s playground and interactive water features will all be accessible during the watch parties. Halperin Park will also feature FIFA commercial partners and host city supporters through Adidas’ official World Cup Match Ball, McDonald’s Photo Bus, Anheuser-Busch’s Michelob ULTRA-branded spaces and complimentary sunscreen provided by UT Southwestern Medical Center.
